PLEASE HELP-Herpes medication making me sick?

I have oral herpes and my doctor have me Acyclovir 800mg. I keep throwing up the medication(only that) and it’s hurting my stomach
I only take 200 mg acyclovir 5 x’s a day. No wonder you may be sick, that is a high dose sounds like it.

Side effects. As far as I know, every medication has them.
