Wow... people are so rude! No herpes medication will make BC stop working. What kind of medication is she on? Valtrex for sure wont. I promise you she can take both and they wont interfere with one and other.

The only time a condom is truely effective with genital herpes is if the out breaks are inside of the vagina, but even then it's not a good source of protection.

Im wondering why she is taking birth control if she has herpes. She should be having pretected sex with her partners so she wont spread it.
