is there any genital herpes medication that can make you’re birth control stop working?

my friend doesnt want to take her herpes meds because she thinks it will make her birth control stop working
well she doesnt have normal pirods and thats the only thing that makes her start
(the birth control)
Wow… people are so rude! No herpes medication will make BC stop working. What kind of medication is she on? Valtrex for sure wont. I promise you she can take both and they wont interfere with one and other.

Im wondering why she is taking birth control if she has herpes. She should be having pretected sex with her partners so she wont spread it.

The only time a condom is truely effective with genital herpes is if the out breaks are inside of the vagina, but even then it’s not a good source of protection.
